Proper Brass Monkeys. That's just what we needed to clear the New Year Hangover. The low temperatures and lack of snow or rain resulted in Porridgepot offering up prime riding conditions. The minus 2 deg C with added windchill on the fast descents didn't deter a few hardy souls from wearing shorts, bbrrr. Setting a slightly shorter course than usual meant there was opportunity to get more laps in and enjoy the amazing hardpack trails. Although you had to keep an eye on the changing surface under tyre as some sections turned to frozen icy earth. Great to see so many riders and thankyou for your feedback.
Apologies from the Gorrick team for the delayed presentations, lack of commentary, and upto date results. Our mini network that connects all the timing pc's had a hissy fit and suffered in the freezing temperatures playing havoc with data entry. We've been working hard to resolve the issues and are sanity checking the results. Our intention is to publish a provisional set of results by Tuesday evening, please bear with us, thankyou.
