Merida Brass Monkeys R3 Windmill Hill - Results and Photographs
by Paul Howard, 04 Jan 15. Results [ 1» ] Photos [ 1» ]
Windmill Hill was an excellent venue for the finale of the 2014 Merida Brass Monkeys Series. The course building team once again surpassed themselves weaving together 6.5miles of mega fun trails with what felt like never too much climbing. Trail conditions improved throughout the duration as the few puddles soon dispersed and the tacky ground never became hard going, if anything it got quicker if your legs allowed. A great big thank you to everyone who took part today and in the Series, we hope you had as much fun as we did putting the events on. Thank you too, to our excellent sponsors for their generosity and support. The day finished with the Series Prize presentations and we'll have the podiums all summarised shortly with full series points to follow.
So that's it for now on the Enduro front, but later on in the year we do have the Kawasaki G100 on May 3 and then the Merida Summer Monkey on June 14. Otherwise it's back to XC racing for a while with the four rounds of the Spring Series starting on the 18 January. See you there.
