Final Round of TrailTrax Series 2012 - this Sunday 7 October at Tilford

The last mountain bike orienteering event of this year's TrailTrax Series takes place on Sunday 7 October 2012 at Tilford south of Farnham in Surrey at the Barley Mow pub. The quintessential English pub right on the village green at Tilford gives access in all directions to some of the best free draining riding in the whole area.

Some might say the weekend was almost too hot for riding, but the lure of competition on baked dry trails plus complimentary beer brought out plenty of riders. Our results processing man is away at present so they will be published next weekend. I'm sure you all got a chance to see where you finished on the day and the winners received their prizes from long term sponsors Mountain Trax. See you at Tilford on the 7th October.

Round 4 of the Gorrick TrailTrax Series 2012 is next weekend in Sunday 9th September at a new venue for Gorrick but one which many of you will have visited before; Chieveley, close to Newbury. There's still time to pre-enter or enter on the day.

Hundreds of riders thrashed round the great all-weather mtb course for 12 hours, and there will no doubt be many tales to tell. Such as; which were the quicker 'options' lines? Was Banksey or Sponge Bob your favourite trail?
